Notes &
National Poetry Month 2010 Challenge
Today is the day before National Poetry Month begins.
Last year, I participated in the NaPoMo “Twitter Haiku Challenge,” the challenge born from our conversations at the Michigan State University Writing Center. Evidence of that challenge can be found here.
But onto this year. I was looking to expand my NaPoMo writing horizons and was also thinking about playing with social media. So I hit upon the idea of inviting people to give me feedback on poems I compose during NaPoMo. I will be posting links to open poems and crowdsource suggestions for improvement. In the spirit of giving, I promise to comment on any and all poems on which others request feedback as well.
In addition, I will be posting my other NaPoMo activities via photos, videos, audio and other multimedia adventures. Consider this the hub of all said activities.
Finally, I invite folks to respond to the posts. I will also be tweeting links out at http://twitter.com/andreazellner.
Happy National Poetry Month!
